MODEL MTS - MOTORIZED THRUSTER SLIDES

The thruster slide is a stepper motor driven lead screw slide. The body of the Thruster is mounted to your frame or to another slide. The tooling plate telescopes out and away from the slide base to any programmable position within the maximum stroke of the slide. Thruster slides can hold position when power is removed, and can be mounted in any orientation.

Thruster slides are typically used for pick-and-place applications, or for pushing and positioning. These actuators are particularly useful when there is a need to reach into an area that must be kept clear of obstructions for subsequent operations.
